Puyallup, WA 우리집 원근 주위에 있고, 대부분 내가 가서 쳐본 적이 있는 Golf course 들을 간추려 아래에 정리를 하여두었다. 나의 Golf play 회고록도 되고, 또 언제고 우리를 찾는 가족/친우 가정들이 우리집을 방문하여 Golf vacation을 가질려면 도움이 되었으면 하고 실었다. 더 많은 Course 들이 있지만 소장하는 사진이 없으면 싣지 않았다.

정암의 서거를 마음 깊이 애도하오. 하늘나라 밝고 따뜻한 곳에서 하나님의 사랑과 은혜 받으며 고통 없는 영의 삶을 영원무궁토록 누리소서. 정암을 잃고 애통하며 우리의 간구하는 기도를 먼저 드리며, 아래 지난날 우리 함께 뛰놀던 학창 시절에 나누던, 또 그 이후에도 아직까지 그려오는 우리 삶의 일부를 사진과 [나의 소장 중에서] 글로 담아 만든 Blog post 하나를 우리 모두가 함께 나누기를 바라오. 평강과 사랑속에 영면 하소서 …

정암 부인의 갑작스런 하늘나라 소천 받으심에 더욱 애도를 드립니다. 두분이 그렇게 가까우시드니, 못내 정암의 떠나심에 부인께서도 서로 오래 떨어 있지 아니시려 따라 가시니 그 따뜻한 부부의 인연에 더욱 감동의 애도가 솟아납니다. 부디 두분께서 하나님의 가호아래 천상의 인연을 영원 무궁토록 함께 누리시도록 기도드립니다.

Heavenly Father, we come to You today with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of our dear friend. We thank You for the gift of his life and the impact it had on each of us. We are grateful for the moments we shared together as friends.

We pray that You would bring comfort and peace to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find solace in the memories and love shared with our friend.

We ask that You grant our friend eternal rest and peace in Your loving embrace. We will hold our friend close in our hearts and carry his memory with us.

Dear friend, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace, knowing you are loved and cherished by all who knew you. In Jesus name, we offer this eulogy prayer for our dear friend. Amen.

3월말 모처럼 화창한 날씨에 Seattle에 사는 딸과 함께, Seattle 도시 한복판에 위치한 ‘University of Washington’ campus를 찾아 벚꽃 Tour에 나섰다. 지난 두주에 나가려고 하였지만 날씨 관계로 미루다가, 오늘은 벚꽃 만개 시기가 조금은 지난 것 같았으나 밝고 따뜻한 날씨에 많은 사람들이 나와 붐비는 가운데, 아름다운 UW Campus를 Cherry blossom과 함께 보는 즐거운 나들이가 되었다.

Our much-delayed Korea trip, due to the last three and a half years of Covid pandemic, was finally realized on August 29th, 2023. We flied the Korean Air Line, arriving at ICN the next day. Prof Huh and his wife, one of our family friends, greeted us at the airport and drove us to our Seoul Mokdong Officetel apartment, where we stayed the next four weeks.

서울 도착 이틀과 나흘 후, 우리는 둘 다 Covid-19을 앓기 시작하여, 집으로 돌아 오는 날까지 병과 그 여파로 거처하는 Apt 에서만 병 조리를 하며 지내고, 손주들이 오면 같이 하려고 계획하였던 관광과, 가족/친우 만나보기, 맛집 찾기 등을 하지 못하고, 손주 두쌍이 자기들 끼리만 몇몇 서울 명소들을 찾아 다니게 되었다. 그리고 손주들은 열흘 좀 넘게 서울서 지내다 Maryland와 Iowa로 돌아가게 되었다. 그래서 아래 Travelog의 대부분은 우리 손주들의 여행일지이고 이 Post 끝에 일부에 우리 지낸 Story가 게재되어 있다.
